May has been a very enjoyable and productive month at Lottie’s Creative Living.

I ran two chalk paint courses at Charlton and met delightful people:

Annie Sloan paint course

“Many thanks for a truly wonderful day, I really, really enjoyed every aspect of it.  You have a beautiful home in a wonderful setting. My boards look great and the effects I achieved far exceeded my expectations!!
I will certainly recommend you to anyone I know who would love a relaxing, creative day.
It was a very encouraging experience and I can’t wait to get going.

There are new pieces for the shop …

Details for all of these and more can be found in the ‘Painted Furniture ‘ and ‘Other Project’ galleries on this website.

My corner at Stables Antiques is becoming ever more ‘lived in’; I have put up some sample boards with Annie Sloan’s chalk paints for inspiration and am stocking Annie’s brand new edition of  Quick and Easy Paint Transformations. If you would like to explore the potential of Annie’s chalk paints in a workshop, I still have a couple of places on my course for 11th June.

Please, do visit my brand new Facebook page and click the LIKE buttons, should you find pleasure in what you see! I have decided I will use that page differently form this website, which displays mainly current stock, to showcase examples of my work including pieces that have gone to good homes. I hope these will provide a source of inspiration.

I have been busy painting up these bedside cabinets for a customer. The interior and first coat are Paloma, followed by a top coat of Old White.

Meanwhile, I have hundreds of other projects on the go and get so excited that I can’t sleep at night. Watch this space!
